On Thursday, May 11th Miss Schockmann, Mrs Applegate, and the Warsaw Children’s Chorus visited the American Jazz Museum in Kansas City, MO. They learned a lot about the history of Jazz in America and Kansas City. We started by singing on the stage in The Blue Room, A tour and scavenger hunt for information in small groups opened their eyes and ears to the world of Jazz. The visit ended with a live performance by a professional jazz band back in the Blue Room!
