Mrs. Burnham’s 1st-grade summer school class had a visit from the Tooth Fairy!! We learned how to care for our teeth and ensure the sugar bugs stay far away! Each student got a new toothbrush, toothpaste, and a fun brushing chart—a big thank you to Kelsie and Kristine, R.D.H from Compass Health.

Today at Summer School, our Kindergarten students went on a field trip to the Lost Valley Fish Hatchery, where they learned about Black bears. Following that, they went to the park to eat lunch and play!

South Parents, The buses at South Elementary arrived late because of the road work on 65 highway. Buses left South at 1:20 and will be running several minutes later than anticipated.

South Elementary recently celebrated our 5th grade graduates and we are excited to see what their bright futures may hold. Congrats to the Warsaw class of 2030!

Congratulations to the top readers in each 2nd - 5th grade class at South Elementary. The following students had the highest word counts in their respective classes through the Reading Counts program. Students received a reading champion t-shirt and coupon certificate. Students work hard all month to achieve this goal.

Due to the rain and storms arriving this morning on the radar we will be canceling field day today at South.
Our rain out date is scheduled for tomorrow, however temperatures are forecasted in the high 50's with more chances for rain.
Therefore, we will plan to have a modified field day Wednesday morning.

Remember that Warsaw R-IX School District is in session on Monday, May 15th through Wednesday, May 17th. Last Day of School is Wednesday, May 17th. On May 17th, HS/JBMS will dismiss at 12:50pm and North/South will dismiss at 12:55pm.
