Summer School Fun!


Our first graders had an adventured-filled afternoon hiking to the harbor, playing on the new playground, and stopping to get ice cream on their way back to North School.

This week, our second-grade students at summer school had a great and tasty time with their geology-themed snack, dirt pudding cups.







Mrs. Brownsbergers first-grade Summer School class has had many bug activities this week! Butterfly life cycle, bug hunt with our magnifying glass, suncatcher butterflies, and q-tip painting of dragonflies.







Mrs. Burnham’s 1st-grade summer school class had a visit from the Tooth Fairy!! We learned how to care for our teeth and ensure the sugar bugs stay far away! Each student got a new toothbrush, toothpaste, and a fun brushing chart—a big thank you to Kelsie and Kristine, R.D.H from Compass Health.





Today at Summer School, our Kindergarten students went on a field trip to the Lost Valley Fish Hatchery, where they learned about Black bears. Following that, they went to the park to eat lunch and play!





In summer school, Mrs. Dove's 2nd-grade class has been learning about rocks and geology. Today, each learner got to break open their own Geode this morning.

Today in Miss Woodens Kindergarten Summer School class, they started an Ocean unit this week. Today they got to dig for ocean life!






On Friday, Mrs. Eidson's second-grade summer school class made jellyfish and starfish in the background and sponge painted.


Mrs. Burnham's 1st-grade summer school class made jellyfish with fruit loop tentacles! We are enjoying exploring the ocean!
