Bus F route is running behind due to issues with our seats on the bus. They did not leave the HS/JBMS parking lot on time. We are working on getting students home using a small bus. It will take a couple of trips, so they will be late getting to their stops.

We apologize for not be able to be more specific about Bus D. Bus D had an issue at the intersection of HWY BB and HWY 65. The tire hit the yield sign and made it go flat. All students were transferred to a new bus and should be on the way home. All students are safe.

Bus D will be running late this afternoon. It should be around 15 to 20 minutes behind.

South Elementary:
Tutoring is still on for tonight as scheduled, from 4:00 - 5:00 please call the office if you need to make other arrangements.

We apologize for the delay in text messages. I just talked with our calling system, and they are having delays with text messages and phone calls. I have sent both phone call and text message tonight. We apologize for inconvenience, but please share the news to everyone. Text message should arrive sometime tonight.

A big congratulations is in order for these students. They were awarded the prize for being the top reader for their respective classes at South Elementary. Students read books and had to pass comprehension quizzes through the Accelerated Reader program in order to count the words they read. All students worked incredibly hard, and these students rose to the top of the academic competition. Students received coupons from local restaurants and a South Elementary Reading Champion t-shirt.

Warsaw South Elementary is pleased to highlight our November Students of the Month, selected for demonstrating the character trait of thoughtfulness. When we think of a thoughtful student, we often think of someone who is considerate, caring, and attentive to others. The students highlighted this month go out of their way to help their classmates succeed. They have a natural ability to sense when someone needs support. These students reach out to others who seem lonely and make sure everyone feels included. We appreciate these students for being excellent role models. Their selflessness and compassion are an inspiration. Climalock provided pizza and soda for these students to celebrate their achievement. Congratulations to our thoughtful Students of the Month: Novalie Fusch, Alaina Jones, Makayla Snow, Violet Barerra, Chesney Felix, Cora Thomas, James Trujillo, Syngen Rivera, Ray Thomas, LuLu Wehrly, Jackson Haddock, Braelyn Wood
