The 4th/5th concert/ talent show will begin at 6:00 in the gym. Concessions are now open in the cafeteria. Students and performers need to report to their homeroom class by 5:45.

Today (3/21), South School was put on a temporary soft lockdown (no recess, inside of school operated as normal). All students and staff are safe and the soft lockdown has been lifted.

IF PASSED ON APRIL 2ND, PROPOSITION KIDS WOULD ALLOW THE DISTRICT TO REMODEL OUR STAGE AND MUSIC ROOMS, WITHOUT AN INCREASE TO THE OVERALL TAX RATE.


South Families:
There will be NO after school tutoring tomorrow, March 21st.
Our 4th and 5th grade students will be performing in their concert/ talent show, beginning at 6:00. The PTO will be offering concessions for sale beginning at 5:00, in the cafeteria. We're looking forward to a great night for our students.

North & South Elementary:
After school Tutoring is on as scheduled this evening, 4:00 to 5:00.

Law Enforcement have informed us that the situation with the threat has been completely resolved. Thank you to Benton County Sheriff Dept and Highway Patrol for their hard work to keep us safe!

After discussion with law enforcement and SROs, we have lifted the lockdown at HS/JBMS campus. We will have a SRO for on-campus practices as an extra precaution. Practices will go on as scheduled.

We have Highway Patrol on site. CTC students have lifted for Sedalia. Our staff is taking an early lunch. We are waiting on an all clear on the threat situation.

All staff and students are safe. Benton County Sheriff Department as informed us of a threat on our WHS/JBMS Campus. We have teachers on campus for professional development. Our high school and middle school campus has been put on lockdown. We will update as soon as possible.
