The Warsaw Lions Club has been selected as the Wildcat Pride Award recipient for March 2026. This award is given to an individual or group that has shown dedication to the Warsaw R-IX School District through involvement in activities, contributions to programs, and a positive impact on our students and staff. The Warsaw Lions Club takes great pride in both the Warsaw R-IX School District and the Warsaw community.
The Warsaw Lions Club continues to be a strong and valued organization in the community, always willing to help whenever needed. Over the years, they have donated funds to support our Robotics Team and have covered the costs for additional Boys and Girls State attendees.
They are also consistently looking for ways to support students in need, often asking if any students require eyeglasses. One of the main focuses of the national Lions Club organization is vision support, and the Warsaw Lions Club partners with other organizations to provide specialized vision screenings for our students.
In addition, they host a 5th and 6th grade basketball tournament each February, giving local teams the opportunity to compete. This tournament is also one of their largest annual fundraisers and has become a valued tradition for both the club and the community.
Thank you to the Warsaw Lions Club for your time, generosity, and dedication to the Warsaw R-IX School District. Keep up the great work!
