Warsaw North Elementary School

Due to extreme cold temps and questionable secondary road conditions, Warsaw R-IX will not be in session on Fri, 2/21. We are running out of preplanned make-up days, so this day will be made up on Mon, 3/24. We will work to make decision on games by tomorrow around noon.

Due to snow covered roads and very low temperatures, Warsaw R-IX School District will not be in session on Thurs, Feb 20th. The make up day will be Monday, April 28th.

Due to the current snow fall and low temperatures, Warsaw will not be in session on Wed, Feb 19th. The makeup day will be Monday, April 14th. Our regular board meeting will still occur tomorrow night.

🔭🪐North Elementary students in Ms. Burnham's 5th grade class have been working on a space object project and presented their projects to their classmates. #WildcatExcellence

During this morning's routes, Bus X and Bus K made minor contact, briefly touching mirrors on Poorboy Rd. Everyone involved is safe and not harmed. All students have been safely delivered to school.

Bus K was involved in a minor incident this morning and is running a little behind. All students are safe. A new bus is on the way to safely transfer the kids and get them to school.

📣❗The Mini Cheer Clinic scheduled for today has been postponed. The new date/time of the cheer clinic will be announced in the coming days. The courtwarming ceremony originally scheduled for today has been postponed to next Tuesday, 2/18. Additional details to come.

❗🏀👑A decision on tonight's basketball games vs. El Dorado Springs and extracurricular practices will be made no later than noon today (2/13). The courtwarming ceremony scheduled for tonight will be moved to next Tuesday, 2/18. Please stay tuned for more information.

🎉🤩Congratulations to our North Elementary Students of the Month for character trait Self-Control (Self-Discipline) during the month of January. Students learned to show friends self-control in things they do. This includes using calm bodies, minds, and hands, and working on patience.
