Mrs. Winters’ 8th grade scientists explored how heat transfers during a delicious S’mores lab! 🔥🍫 Students discovered that convection—using steam—created the best heat transfer for that perfectly squishy marshmallow. The conduction hot plate and radiation heat lamp tried their best, but just couldn’t compete. No matter the method, the results were all tasty! 😄🔥 #WildcatTradition #ScienceFun

JBMS 7th graders in Mrs. Winters’ class explored how to read topographic maps, then put their learning into action by building models of Mt. St. Helens before and after its eruption. 🌋 To take it a step further, student groups designed their own landform-filled “planet” called Planetopia—a creative way to apply science skills and imagination! #WildcatTradition #LearningFun

These talented 7th and 8th graders traveled to UCM on Friday to participate in the West Central MMEA Junior High Honor Choir! 🎶 It was a day filled with music, fun, and hard work as they joined more than 300 students from across the district for an amazing experience. 🎤👍🏼 #WildcatTradition #HonorChoir
