✨📚 Published Author 📚✨ We are incredibly proud of one of our very own high school teachers, Mr. Payne, who recently became a published author! His new book, Devon's Beat, tells the heartfelt story of a local boy diagnosed with Long QT Syndrome, a form of SADS (Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome). 🐣🐤🤩South Elementary preschool students had some special visitors last week! A big thank you to Mrs. Anita Campbell for bringing in baby chicks. The kids had an awesome time gently handling the chicks, which were only a few days old! #WildcatExcellence

South Elementary 3rd graders have been learning about life cycles in science. They each created a project to showcase the unique life cycle of a specific animal or insect. From eggs to adults, their creativity and curiosity truly shined! #WildcatExcellence #LifeCycle #Science

All students and staff are safe. During this afternoon's route, bus X caught fire with only one student on board. Thanks to the quick actions of our driver, Charlie, both he and the student were unharmed. We're grateful for his calm and swift response.

Reminder - A meeting for all seniors will be held tomorrow, 4/17 at 10:30am at the HS. We ask that seniors prioritize being at school for this meeting. There will be a lot of important information shared about the end of senior year. This is for senior (students) only, not parents.

JBMS Honor Society students had an exciting and educational day touring State Fair Community College! They explored the innovative Collaboration Lab, got a behind-the-scenes look at the cutting-edge Technology and Health Sciences buildings, and wrapped up the day with a visit to the Daum Museum of Contemporary Art. The results are in for the 53rd Annual Pummill Math Relays 2025. 🎉 🥇The Geometry Team (consisting of Jordan Dove, Lhandon Rose, Henry Breshears, and Jasmin Myers) won GOLD. 🥇 The Algebra Team (consisting of Ayden Burdick, Elsie Hughes, Brennen Slavens, and Elizabeth Winters) won GOLD. 🏅Henry Breshears placed 5th as an individual in Geometry. Congrats, cats!
