North & South Elementary first graders had quite the honor earlier this week as local veterans from the 40 & 8 visited to share about the history and importance of the American flag. 🔬🌱 Mrs. Harris’ 5th graders at South Elementary took their mini handheld microscopes outside for some hands-on science! They investigated the underside of leaves to find stomata—tiny openings that act like little mouths, helping plants “breathe in” air so they can grow. 🍃✨ #WildcatTradition #ScienceFun
