“Jackie bleeds green and black. She is an icon at WHS. Jackie works tirelessly with the FFA and Archery kids. She always has a smile on her face and is willing to volunteer anywhere help is needed.”
“Jackie is a very involved person. She is dedicated to the Warsaw School District and students. Jackie it always there to help a person out that is in need, like when a coworker is alone in the concessions. She dropped what she was doing and jumped in to help with a smile. This is Jackie all the time!”
It is with great enthusiasm that I nominate Jackie Downing for Staff Member of the Month. A dedicated educator and coach for over 20 years, Mrs. Downing has made a lasting impact on students through her passion for teaching, mentorship, and leadership. Currently, Mrs. Downing teaches Agriculture Education and leads our FFA program, inspiring students to develop hands-on skills, leadership abilities, and a deep appreciation for agriculture. Her commitment to FFA extends beyond the classroom, as she tirelessly organizes events, competitions, and activities that allow students to grow and succeed. In addition to her role in the classroom, Mrs. Downing serves as the Archery coach, helping students develop discipline, focus, and confidence. Her coaching goes beyond technique—she instills teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship in every student she mentors. Mrs. Downing’s dedication to education and student success is evident in the time and energy she invests in her work. Whether she’s in the classroom, at an FFA event, or coaching on the archery range, she consistently goes above and beyond to support and encourage her students. Her impact is felt not only by her students but also by her colleagues and the entire school community. For her unwavering commitment, outstanding leadership, and passion for student success, I wholeheartedly nominate Jackie Downing for Staff Member of the Month.”
