Grace Long is a fifth grade student enrolled at South Elementary. She was the majority winner in a survey sent to South teachers asking for nominations for our student spotlight for the board of education. We are thrilled to have such a wonderful leader like Grace at South Elementary!
Here are some things teachers said about her when nominating her for this spotlight:
Grace is what it means to have wildcat excellence. Grace goes above and beyond each day she comes to school. She always has a smile on her face and is willing to help others in a heartbeat. Whether it's on an assignment or teaching kids at recess how to crochet. She is very involved in our school, whether it's our Children's Chorus or the Wizard of Oz play. She is an advanced student on Evaluate and the MAP test. Grace works hard each day and deserves recognition each day. I can't wait to see her continued success in the years to come.
I think Grace may get overlooked easily because she is a quiet kid that does the right thing. She is a delight to have in class and a great asset to South School and the Warsaw District as a whole.
Grace is an excellent representative of our school, district, and the community.
Way to go, Grace! Keep showing your Wildcat Pride in everything you do! We’re so proud of you.
