Cleanest School in the District (3rd quarter)

It is time to announce the “Cleanest School in the District” award for the 3rd quarter. Congratulations to the Warsaw High School for winning the award. Thank you to the students, teachers, administrators, and other staff for helping with the award. Big Thank you and Congrats to Jimmie Burr, Linda Hiserote, and Steve Johnson for their dedication and time in winning the "Cleanest School in the District.”

 Here were the overall scores:

  • High School       3.03

  • South School          3.02

  • North School      3.00 (Most improved)

  • Middle School       3.00

Below is the details from our inspector:

High School           3.03

  • Very clean restrooms are now consistently cleaner than last year.

  • Floors were clean with great shine.

  • Other areas, kitchen, hallways, classrooms, offices, gym, custodial closets, entrances were very clean.

  • Challenge will be maintaining the score in the 4th quarter.

South                      3.02

  • South again was very clean.

  • Floors had great shine.

  • Other areas, kitchen, hallways, classrooms, offices, gym, custodial closets, entrances were very clean.

  • Challenge will be maintaining the score in the 4th quarter.

North                      3.00

  • Most Improved.

  • All areas of the school were very clean. Restrooms were most improved.

  • Floors were very clean with great shine. Except for one section. We discussed plans on how to correct this issue. This is probably no fault of the staff.

  • The section that there were issues in, was a complete 180 degrees from December.

  • Other areas, kitchen, hallways, classrooms, offices, gym, custodial closets, entrances were very clean.

  • Challenge will be maintaining the score in the 4th quarter.

Middle School       3.00

  • Very Clean School

  • Floors had great shine.

  • Other areas, kitchen, hallways, classrooms, offices, gym, custodial closets, entrances were very clean.

  • Challenge will be maintaining the score in the 4th quarter.

Tim Snider, our maintenance director, said "I am very pleased with the results and our school staff as a whole. The hardest part is coming up and that is the 4th quarter. But if everyone holds together in the 4th quarter we should finish up strong and rich with our goal of a 3.0. Congratulations to all on this year keeping our school safe and clean."

Once again, we are very proud of our staff and the dedication they show to our school district to keep it clean! Keep up the great work.
