Last week, Ms. Siegel and Ms. Swisher traveled to San Diego with the Marines for their Educators Workshop. Selected high school and college educators, coaches, directors, counselors and administrators were invited to see firsthand how the Marine Corps transforms young men and women into Marines. Participants received the most current information regarding Marine Corp training practices, military occupational specialties, service options, military lifestyles, exclusive base access and educational opportunities available to Marines. From overcoming team building obstacles, to rappelling down the 47 foot tower, educators left knowing how to have informative conversations, and an unforgettable experience.
